For a long time, I have bought CARBONELL(an excellent Spanish Olive Oil) from my local Tesco. They have stopped doing it. Can you recommend other Olive Oils - for everyday use and/or for special use - that you think are better than the average oil on supermarket shelves ... or maybe a mail-order oil?
The Gift of Oil do amazing oils apparently - loads of the TV chefs recommend them. Very expensive I think so have yet not tried them. I just buy Tescos own - they do a range of Greek, Italian and Spanish. I bought a bottle of their finest Italian which was on offer and that's lovely. I "mix and match" depending on what's on offer.
getoily.com is a good site!

Belazu oils (and olives) are superb. We tasted some of the range yesterday at Taste of Birmingham. Not sure where they are stocked, though. Could always google them.
have been told (by numerous TV cooks) that as long as it is extra virgin and cold pressed you should be fine whoever makes it.... i usually buy the slightly more expensive supermarket ones, and they seem good to me. Use rather a lot to buy a really pricey one!
badger, I also use far too much to buy the expensive ones. I only the bought the Tesco finest Tuscan cos it was half price. They definitely vary in taste though - some peppery, some fruity etc...
Michele - I have had Belazu from Morrisons and Tesco.
