FAO Nenna
Made the Tear and Share. Delicious. In lieu of some of the flour I added four tblsps porridge oats. I attempted to put in in a 20cm tin but looked as if it was going to be too much of a squash so put it in a 23cm pan. Still turned out well. Was going to serve it with the BBQ we had today but forgot to put it on the table, so had it after the pudding with the lovely strong Cheddar.
Glad you liked it EG! We had some with soup, but I put most of it in the freezer, there's only two of us.
I found it a squeeze to fir into the specified tin and if I make it again, which I probably will, I will use a bigger tin. There are other fillings , would you like me to give you those too?
Yes please Nenna.
Here they are---Olive tear and share
Tapenade (green or black) 6tbsp
Olives (chopped) 25g
Olive Oil 2 tbsp
Pepperoni tear and share
Tom. puree 4tbsp
Pepperoni (chopped(50g
Mozzarella cheese 100g
Dried oregano or Basil 1 tsp
Olive Oil 1 tbsp.
The method of rolling and filling is the same , use olive oil to drizzle over before putting in the oven an in the last one sprinkle over the herbs also. Enjoy!
Another one which I've made before from a different recipe, the dough was no good but the filling is, 4 garlic cloves, crushed, 6 tbsp. of green pesto, and 1 tbsp of olive oil, S&P. Use this filling in the same way .
Thanks, you've given me some ideas! I've made some soup for tonight to go with the rest yesterday's loaf.
