If you were me, would you audition for the above panto?
bearing in mind I had a part in the last panto and because there were too many PRIMA DONNAS I left halfway through rehearsals.

To all our american cousins, Happy Independence Day.
Happy Canada Day weekend to you all!
Hope you all have a great time, and the sun shines for you. Happy Birthday!
Hi,
just to say thanks so much for your support - i got round in 42 minutes 16 seconds which i thought was pretty good! it was a great day and I raised roughly £550!
so thank you!!!
well so far this week, haven;t we been spoilt for the weather...
not sure where to put this, but wanted to chat about it.
I used to love cooking but I am now disabled due to illness and it became a real chore. I just can't cook like I used to. So, THANK YOU DELIA.
I am so pleased with your book and with the subsequent ideas it has given me. I was really suprised at the quality of some of the tinned products.
Now, with a little help admittedly, I am able to "cook" Delia style. And the mini food processor, is a real boon.
Shepherds Pie - wonderful!
Tarts & pies - sensational!
Cheats Rissoto - sublime!
THANK YOU DELIA for helping me get back into the kitchen. I am sure there are many disabled people who feel the same too. God bless.

Made these for Easter. Went down a treat! Very tasty, not that much work considering we can't get them here, well that taste anything apart from a dry loaf of flavorless bread.
Best recipe for them I've tried yet.
Well our friends came around at 1pm yesterday and we had a drink and some nibbles while the lunch finished cooking, at 2.15pm we sat down to oven roasted chickens (2) with lemon and thyme, roasted squash stuffed with 3 different mushrooms and mild goats cheese for my veggie, roast potatoes, vegetables, stuffing and gravy, for pudding we had hot cross bun bread and butter pudding (I spread the buns with quince jelly, It was lovely) lemon flan with mini eggs scattered on top and tiramisu, a large selection of cheeses with bread and biscuits, coffee and mini eggs to finish, I hate to think how many bottles of red and white wine were drunk!! and our friends left at 7pm...... that has to be the longest lunch we have ever had..... :) It was so relaxing and so lovely to hear our girls and our friends chatting away about life, sport, work and future dreams. What a lovely day.
Hope you all had a wonderful Easter, it is now our wedding anniversary today but just a quiet day with an early supper with the girls before eldest gets the train back to London. I am truly lucky to have such wonderful family and friends.
Hi you two very clever people!! I have loved reading your exploits re making your own Easter Eggs some good tips too, I am seriously going to think about making some next year, just one question, what type of chocolate did you start off with? And also what percentage of cacoa was in it.?
Great Thread, if you get the thread of the month I suggest you should get one each !!!
Yummy
are under way!!!!
its sooooooo easy.
Seems to of come upon us quickly this year. We aren't going away but most probably go out somewhere. Haven't made up my mind what to cook on Easter day. What are you having?...foodie/
I've registered to do the race for life today! it's on the 1st of june in Hull and i'm doing it with a friend at her request because she lost her mum at a very ealry age to cancer. i'm not necessarily hinting for donations - maybe just take a look at my site and register to join yourselves? it's all for a good cause!!!

Thanks Sam - and others! - I never would have thought of making my own!
I now have my Lakeland Easter Egg moulds - and - they were selling cellophane bags with little pastel coloured bunnies on - just £1 for 30 bags!
Chocolate melting here I come!
I know i am a little early. But having read Aprils Good Food Mag, thye have an interesting article about making your own easter eggs, and they have a reader of one mould plus a sheet of mini bunnies and mini chicks, for £17.99 inc p & p. I have had a look on the tinterweb, and seem some others that are a lot cheaper. cos i am wondering thats a lot of money for using only once a year, and what if i don;t get on with it.
Has anyone made their own before what moulds or shops would you recommend.
