Thanks ever so much for all the replies.I would like to grow things like Brod Beans,runner beans,tomatoes, potatoes ( good and tastey ones ) courgets,aubergenes,pumpkins,peppers, chilies,as much as i can realy to cut down my weekly out goings.And any advice on what fruite trees like Apples , plums, pears,carrots.Cant think of any more but any other things you lovley and helpfull people out there can think of.No green house,what about a propagator.Thanks lots Kind Regards, catdog777

hi- fruit trees fine- but chose small varieties- get ones grown on dwarf rootstocks if you can- the garden centre will give you some advice. and try and go for self-pollinating varieties- cox's orange is a nice apple to try. (also you could try peach and fig- both good in large pots)
runner beans, toms, pepper, chillis, aubergine will be fine- not sure about potatoes- although you might get a few baby ones-probably too late for this year tho'- i have grown carrots in pots-good-but just baby ones again- nice tho'.
also not sure about pumpkins and courgettes as they need a bit of ground, but someone else might have tried it.
