Anyone know how to get spaghetti sauce stains out of clothes?
Son got it all over his white school uniform top. I have washed it but the stains have not come out
Many thanks xx
Stain Devils Jools, it works wonders. Or Dylon stain remover - Vanish doesn't work (or, at least, I've never found it to)
Ace Bleach is brilliant but after my earlier thread re Bleached top can't believe I'm recommending the stuff!. Used this when someone tripped over and their glass of red wine went all over my new white waistcoat, soaked it overnight came out like new.
I'd go for Ace as well - it usually works for me
XxGlad
put a splodge of neat bleach on your draining board...then using am ear bud stick thingy, dunk in the neat bleach, then dab on both sides of the material...then wash in the "green" boxed washing powder, ie biological, on at least 40 degrees, and line dry, the sun will help bleach it too.
if you have domestos kitchen cleaner, bleach, in a blue squirty bottle squirt that both sides of material that will work too....does wonders for pizza stains too!!
Sam
Agree with Sam. Cotton buds are brilliant for spot cleaning with bleach - the stain will hopefully disappear before your very eyes.
Dylon One - works every time on all grease based stains - even curry. I get it in Woolies - the one with the blue lid - actually, stock up, they work a treat on all stains.
After washing dry in full sun with the stain facing the sun as this will help bleach out a stain as well.

I don't have a washing line....................................
Soak in solution of Ariel / Bold in a bucket overnight, then wash as usual way, works for coloureds too. I'm far too clumsy to play with bleach.
Must be a Colchester thing Dolly, not having a washing line :0) I didn't either. The posts and line stayed in their packaging in the garage. Biggs
Hi Biggs,
Did have a washing line until we had the marquee for daughter's 21st and then everything had to be removed to make space....don't miss it though, hardly ever used it....have you one in France??
Have read your e-mail, will reply soon....lovely photo....

The tub of Vanish powder is only thing that works for me. I bought a Shout spray on recommendation but it didn't do a thing
