Am preparing this now to eat tomorrow.....sun gone in at mo....has anyone made this with different ingreds??
instead of 1 onion, I have added ½ tin lazy onions (never used these before) but a lot in a tin so freezed remainder (hope this is ok to do)....
I am also going to add some red pepper and instead of tomato frito, how about 2 tins chopped tomatoes??
any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.....
Just made myself a cup of Tassimo med roast coffee to take back outside.....sun out again....

If you're using tinned tomatoes I would give it a good half-a-tube of tomato puree, Dolly, as the tinned toms are a good deal more watery than tomato frito. Bramble :-)

I have one jar of tom frito but wanted to use tinned toms....didn't think it would be too watery after 3 hours in oven but will add tom puree.....what do you think about a small tin or would it be too much....don't like to waste....

Hi there Dolly......I do occasionally use Lazy Onions but I usually drain them first.I think that they are a little greasy.......tasty though. chesca

i'd recommend upping the quantaties of paprika...we found this recipe a little bland unfortunatley...tasty but not quite zingy enough if you get what i mean?!
