Today was so lovely. It's amazing how a bit of sun can lift the spirits. Matty (my son), Ruby (hound) and I went up onto the Trans-Pennine Way (only 5 minutes from me) and sat up on the top of "Hacking Knife" a hill overlooking Manchester, Yorkshire, The Pennines etc... It was right windy but lovely and sunny. We ran round with the dog, took a puzzle book, some chocolate cake and orange juice and it was great. Had to give my juice to the dog cos I forgot to take her any water. House is a tip but it might be raining tomorrow.
How right you are about a warm sunny day lifting the spirit..............and have you noticed how in the winter everyone is always more chatty when we've had some snow? Glad you made the most of your day with Matty and Ruby.
What a nice day! - who cares about the house? - there's always tomorrow to do housework!
We went to Oswestry yesterday - took the GD puppy - but also forgot water! - we went out for lunch with him, and ended up giving him mineral water on a saucer!
Good weather does make you feel so much more happy. I just sat in the garden and got red arms as a result.
It wasn't that hot here KK. Today is back to being thoroughly miserable. We had planned to go on a picnic but it's awful.
Not many pet owners would put their dog first, sincere congratulations, wish there were more kind and considerate people like you around.
You painted such a wonderful picture, feeling quite envious looking out over a warden controlled OAP site.
