It is lovely here today.....hot and sunny...just got out chair covers and parasol and spotted a wasps nest....sat on edge of fish pond looking at hundreds of baby goldfish thinking..... how am I going to feed you lot and will there be enough room in the pond....and snails, they are fascinating to watch (never thought I would hear myself say that)......meant to be cleaning today but think I will just relax with some books outside and pop back here now and again.....daughter suggested paella for dinner so that's easy, chicken and prawns defrosting as I type.....
what are you all doing today?
off outside to sit in the sun, will pop back later....

Lucky you. After a sunny day yesterday, it's absolutely poo again here today. An opportunity to do some housework perhaps? Ploughman's for lunch and Delia's Cheat Spag Bol for tea so hopefully will be able to spend time away from the kitchen for a change. Enjoy your day Dolly.
Hot and sunny here as well Dolly.
I've just been spending the last hour translating an offer from Orange, the internet provider, who want us to leave France Telecom, who had to provide the telephone service last year, and move over wholly to them. Lovely lady keeps telephoning me to see if I have made the translation to her e-mail, yet. Told her yesterday not to call me back before Friday :0)
I'd rather be looking at the baby goldfish and snails......

Certainly is lovely!
Wish I were outside!

Dolly enjoy the sunshine, housework can wait! Roasting out here in Yemen so have come inside for a bit!!! Love living in the sun though! Salad, couscous with fresh pomegranite seeds etc for dinner tonight. The pomegranite out here is devine! Salmon fillet for OH! Too hot for serious cooking!
Lovely here too - am sitting in garden with laptop writing to you. Very still too, and quiet, lovely.

Maryyem,
Think I might fly over.....your meal sounds yummy!
Merrie,

wireless is very handy for looking up Delia recipes in the kitchen... OH gets all cross coz i scroll down the pages with floury hands!
Sitting here laughing EB.....
haha - pleased to hear it!!
I love wireless. I can check this site and watch TV at the same time! Have a problem using the laptop in the garden when it is sunny as can't read the screen very well. My OH has a laptop as well and plays internet chess most evenings. We are very ante-social!!
Hey Dolly, Yemen is fabulous, the capital Sana'a is at 2,500 mtrs above sea level, in the mountains, so perfect climate, dry with a light breeze! Fruit and veg organic, meat not great though! Coming home to Scotland in August. Am trying to figure out how to lasso the sun, stuff it in my case and bring it with me!!!
Maryyem,
Is it a good place for a holiday?....sounds lovely....
think Scotland could do with a little sun....
I now remember reading on another thread about your daughter and probs with the heat where you live and poss returning to Scotland.....
Don't think you would survive there after the lovely Yemen sun....
