Hi YT,

Why might Englishmen need to add lbs? We all seem to be encouraged to lose weight in this Country at the moment as our Govt. thinks we are all obese (sorry, as of today we cannot use that word, we have to say 'very overweight'. Ugh!

Most people and kids I know are slim or normal. I think gov. is manipulating the stats. The already fat seem to be getting much fatter, so the "average" in fact median is appearing to get bigger. So many healthy, normal-eating people I know are told they're "underweight" - ridiculous! Nobody went around telling my mum and her sisters they were underweight - loathe the nanny state, which gets worse and worse!!!
