Help I just can't stop making the tarts, both sweet and savoury and we can't stop eating them either. Much as I love Delia's new book it isn't doing my waistline any good. The ready made pastry is super it makes it all such a doddle. Think I'll just have another sliver of apple pie,

I made the spinach and feta pasties last night, lovely, just like the real thing! Didn't use froz spinach, as we had some in anyway. Nice to meet you Bones, and you again Mat but you have been on before I think :-)))

I can't stop using the puff pastry rounds as well - have said this before. They are so versatile and easy peasy.

I always have a couple of packs of 8 little shortcrust tart cases from M & S in the house. Great for the chocolate tartlets plus a lemon tart mixture.

Have always been a regular to Delia's website but have only just started posting here. I just had to add to the praise of Delia's new book especially in the face of the criticism in the media. Thanks for saying hallo Bramble

Bones, the Priory clinic are now having to cater for the "tart addiction" clients (myself included with a particular love for banoffee). I have put on about 10 lbs since joining this site. Aaaarrrgggghhhhhhh - the darkened room with no recipe books for a while, I think.....

I adapted the Cromer Crab Tart recipe for my non fish eating father by replacing the crab with sliced Chorizo, increasing the parmesan a little and omitting any extra seasoning. He loved it and described it as being like a pizza in a quiche!
