My extremely- new-at-cooking husband did some of the Cheat roast potatoes with melting cheese and they were delicious! He has also done the oven-sauteed potatoes with onion. Loved those, too!

He's cooked three Cheat dinners now, two of which included puds. Hope he carries on - has the whole book to get through (apart from the recipes with tomatoes in). At the moment his new home-made, radio-controlled model aircraft seems to be taking up a lot of his time but I'll be patient!!!!

i really liked the sauted potatoes with onion, rosemary and garlic. they were delish!
