One of Matty's requests this week is for a Spag Bol and as I knew I was passing an M&S yesterday thought I'd try Delia's. So that's on the menu for some time this week. Couldn't believe how much the mince was though - £2 a flippin' tin! The Dress sauce however is on offer this week in Asda - down from £1.64 to £1. had to steal the 2 tablespoons of red wine from OH's bottle when he wasn't looking and popped it in the freezer. Tee hee.

I use this recipe quite a bit as it's so quick and easy and tastes nice. For 2 people the 99p tin wasn't too bad but this week it had gone up to £1.19. Probably cos it has got popular. I missed out on the Dress sauce as my Asda is quite a long way away and I bought loads last time I was there.

Can't imagine the small tin would be sufficient for us as we eat such vast quantities of food. Be interesting to see how it will turn out as I would usually simmer a Bol. Sauce for a few hours.
