This looks lovely but sadly my husband doesn't like lamb.
I was wondering if anybody had tried it with pork (possibly the fillet). Anybody think it would work?

the lamb is beautiful - I think chicken might be better? I'd imagine that lemon and chicken are much more complimentary flavours than lemon and pork...although I might be wrong!!!

I served it with the How To Cheat sauted potatoes with rosemary and red onion (at the beginning of the book) and a big pile of feta salad - it was sublime.

No Monkey I haven't tried it with pork but would well be worth a try, possibly with a shorter cooking time. We LOVED this dish. Pity your husband doesn't like lamb. In fact i have been thinking about what to cook on Friday night, you have given me a good idea..........x

I think pork and lemon sound a lovely combination. Would he eat goat?

Happy to help, Witty Vic!
No hope of the goat, I'm afraid, nor does he like chicken. What a pain.
Might try it - if so will report back.
Thanks

I think the pork and lemon sounds a good combination too. Do you think if you gave him goat and told him it was beef he'd enjoy it? My OH wouldn't know the difference but yours might!
