Pehaps Awe Inspiring Sam ??
Yes I have been watching too, they said there were another 20 teams before Team GB and so I thought I would go and have a shower, came down and yes you've guessed it they had gone through. Only hope they are as quick at the Athletics !!!

I made a quick mention on another thread. I thought the opening ceremonies were awesome (I think that's what you were looking for Sam.) I have to admit I like your "awing" - you might have coined a new word which makes it into the New Oxford Dictionary eventually. They are always including new words which have come into general use because someone first used the word and gradually it came to be generally accepted.
Will be watching bits and pieces of the olympics but won't be glued to the TV all day and as usual, I'll be cheering for us (GB) and Canada.

IN answer to Sam's question .... thank goodness - an almost Olympic free zone. However, it is coincidental that we have had two stir-fry meals since last Friday!

So glad that Team GB are doing so well, not a bad medal haul in a week.

Yes, despite our efforts to stay Olympics-free, we are thrilled to bits with the way in which Team GB are performing. As one of the Sunday papers headlined today - the "great haul of China".
