I feel really guilty as I was the one who suggested the hung Shao Pork for September and have only got round to doing it today !!!! Just didin't seem to have the time although I had bought the pork in plenty of time.............anyway will see how it turns out, (cooking at the moment) just going to serve it with Special Fried rice as OH doesn't like greens.
Must get my act together for the Beef in Barolo, although will have to look for another type, not seen it here, any suggestions ???

I'm hoping to go shopping tomorrow and will look for an appropriate piece of meat. I bought a 'nice' chianti the other day as I couldn't track down barolo.

Hi all, well the Pork went down very well, it was very tender and I had no problems eating every bit of the meat, fat and skin. OH on the other hand doesn't like a lot of fat so he cut quite a lot off, the taste was really lovely though and the juices (deep and aromatic ) mixed well with the Special Fried Rice. Would make it again.

Biggs, I am going to have a scout round to see if I can see the same grapes used in the Barolo Wine, I am sure Delia points this out in the recipe....watch this space.
