Can anyone help? I have baked Delia's carrot cake on two occasions now and each time the Centre of the cake has sunk in the middle. Does anyone have any ideas about this problem as I stuck to the receipe exactly. Also Delia's states time in oven to be 34-40 mins but I had to leave mine in for 1hr 30mins. What am I doing wrong?!!!!!

Its worth investing in an oven thermometer just to be sure... you can pick one up quite cheaply in Lakeland...

Hi

Are you using the 'ultimate' carrot cake recipe? I have tried loads of recipes and this one is defo the best. However, I chop the carrots in the food processor rather than grate them as I have found grated carrots almost always sink.
