I went to the supermarket yesterday but couldn't get any large scallops so instead I came home with a couple of tubs of the really small ones, the only thing is I don't have any recipes for using these. Can anyone help? Many thanks

They're called queenies, so you may find more recipes looking at queen scallops. We usually make a cream onion and mushroom sauce, fry the babies briefly in butter and serve with plain boiled rice. You don't want anything overpowering :-)

They are known as bay scallops here so you could also do a search using that name.

i've got a recipe for scallops in my profile - i've always used the big ones but i don't see that it would make a diffrerence with small ones? just use more per person! recipe is called pan fried scallops with herby salsa.
