Eat barbecued chicken wings that have been delivered from the local takeaway that have been cooled quickly and stored covered in the fridge overnight cold please?
Sorry but never done this before.

This is driving me nuts, I've just replied and I know I hit submit but there's no reply!!
I'm still here after having done it several times, if you're not comfortable though, you can heat them up to piping hot.

Yes I would, if they're only yesterday's.
If you're worried, heat them up hot in the oven,
I would not trust any sauces though :-)

Thanks folks, much appreciated, I would far rather err on the side of caution.

I was going to have them cold with salad for lunch tomorrow.

I have always understood that it's a No-no to 'reheat/heat up' previously cooked chicken, since it takes it to a temperature that allows 'nasties' to spawn without getting hot enough to kill them.

I think you're far safer with cold cooked chicken, provided you cooled it quickly. I eat it frequently for lunch without any problems.

Had the chicken cold lunchtime with a nice salad and oatcakes. Totally delicious.

Many thanks for all of the help.
