I can't believe it! I have just found out that someone somehow used my debit card details to purchase £200 worth of groceries from Ocado on Saturday!! The bank have been very helpful but what an inconvenience. The card has been cancelled so having to use my husband's til new one comes through. Grrrrrrrrr!
That's got it off my chest - thank you for listening!
Now, what shall we have to eat tonight?!

Well the thieves would have given a delivery address to Ocado. You never know, they may just have been stupid enough to use their own! Something for the Police to look at anyway.

That's a good point Lin - the bank's fraud department are looking into it so maybe they will come up with something.

Mum had something similar happen a couple of years ago, the police managed to arrest the idiots who used her card number to buy petrol from the same petrol station twice!!!

I've just been through this a couple of months ago, there were several transactions came out of my account, but both Dell Computers and John Lewis refused to supply to a different address to the one one the card, and told me about it. I was onto the case by then, but good of them to let me know!

Bramble, that is very impressive on behalf of Dell and John Lewis. I don't know much about Ocado as I get my shopping online from Sainsburys - are they purely online gorceries?

Problem solved about tonight's meal - all head over to Dolly's. She'll never notice the extra two!
How infuriating for you though - I love the thought of the police turning up at the delivery address Ocado was sent to - typing this with fnigrers crossed!

Donna, what a bummer. Hope the police get the thieves. Tony's credit card details were nicked recently but the bank blocked the "payments". The bank thought: "download i-tunes", he's never done that; ditto "Mobile=phone top up". Well done Co-operative Bank, we thought.
