Some of you know that I have been waiting for results of a bone scan which I had on Wednesday
Well got the results and its all fine. No further spread of cancer and where I have got it (hip) its still the same
This is great news totally over the moon!
Also got filmed today by a company making a documentary on our local hospice. I was happy to do this -if anything to dispell the myth that hospices are for the dying. Guy said I was a natural in front of the camera (blush)!
Am really happy -going to have a couple of glasses of wine tonight with OH. Now we can go away on holiday and have a fantastic time

I'm so pleased that the result came through before your holiday, especially as the news is so positive. Will the film be on general release???? Hope Christopher is feeling better too.

I am so happy and relieved for you Jools, have a wonderful holiday and come back refreshed and ready to tackle the garden!

Hospices are wonderful places, I did some unpaid voluntary work at St. Giles Hospice in Whittington. It was so inspiring to meet the patients, their families and the staff.

It was not like I had expected it to be, it was tranquil and yet a happy place to be. The walled garden was sublime, the chapel so peaceful, the day centre was great.

The whole place was totally inspiring and part of my life that I will never forget.
