a huge white loaf. It looks amazing and gorgeous. Going to have it for breaksfast with Morrisons Brittany Butter with Sea Salt Crystals. Feeling very proud. My sister came for dinner and I told her I'd done her favourite pudding. "Great" she said, "Apple Crumble". It was a New York Vanilla Baked Cheesecake with Poppy Seeds.
Fortunately that was gorgeous too. Feeling happy again.

The bread was divine. Didn't have time to look up a recipe in the end and did the one off the bag. I did a second proving though although the recipe never mentioned that and kneaded it for twice the time stated.

Biggles, how can you complain with all that authentic French Butter? Lucky you.

Not much better than home made bread and wonderful butter. I like simple things (being a simple creature....). Not sure about the sound of the NY cheesecake with poppy seeds - were they a bit crunchy?? I love Good Foods low fat NY cheesecake, well worth a try and you would never know its low fat!

GQ - poppy seeds are so tiny they don't really crunch. Problem is cos there was a mouse in the kitchen in the middle of the night, every time I see a stray poppy seed, I think it's mouse poo!

Could you post a link or the recipe please, Gravy Queen? I love cheesecake and it's a huge bonus if it's low fat.
